During all “scheduled” doctor visits, 1 client will be permitted to accompany our patient into the building, and be present during the examination. A face mask will be required to enter the hospital, and your temperature will be taken prior to entry.
Anyone who prefers not to enter the building will still be provided care under our existing curbside protocol. Just inform our staff at the time of scheduling.
Tech visits will remain as curbside protocol. Emergencies, and “squeeze ins” will also continue to be handled under the existing curbside protocol. The reason behind this decision, is that these patients are taken directly to the Treatment Area and will not occupy an Exam Room.
We ask that you continue the process of calling or texting us when you arrive. Those numbers are prominently displayed on a board outside the front of the building. Remain in your vehicle until you are notified that your room is ready. Your Technician will meet you at the front door, take your temperature, and escort you and your pet directly to the room reserved for your appointment.
Face masks and social distancing will be in effect. We must restrict the number of clients to 1 because the exam rooms are not adequate in size to allow for more visitors. The Reception Waiting Area will remain closed until a later date.
All specimen drop-offs, prescription and food pick-ups, will continue to be handled curbside.
Our Euthanasia protocol remains unchanged.
We are thankful to have reached this point, and are committed to maintaining all safety protocols in order to successfully protect the health of our clients and staff. We very much want this first step forward to be a positive experience for all. We value your loyalty, and are honored by the trust you placed in us throughout this difficult and challenging time. This process is just the beginning of welcoming all of you back to Bayshore Veterinary Hospital, and by continuing to work together, we strongly feel it won’t be long before our building is once again filled with the sounds of our patients, and our clients who love them!
