Medical Boarding

Boarding is available for our patients on a reservation basis. We strongly recommend that you call to book your dates well in advance during holiday periods, or times of heavy seasonal travel. Our facility includes separate areas for cats and dogs, and various sized cages and runs. We’re happy to accommodate requests to keep “siblings” together in a run if it makes them feel more secure.

While we are not staffed 24 hours, we devote a great deal of attention to our boarders during business hours. Walks are scheduled throughout the day along with exercise and staff play as tolerated. Our focus is to keep them comfortable and safe during their time away from home.

Requirements

For the safety of all our boarders, all canine guests require up-to-date:

  • Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella Vaccines

Additionally, they must be current on flea and tick, and heartworm monthly preventative and have a negative fecal within the last 6 months.

Feline boarders require up-to-date:

  • Rabies and Distemper Vaccines. They must also be current on flea and tick preventative.

Once you book your reservation, please download our Medical Boarding Form and complete all requested information, including sections regarding medications and feedings, prior to your scheduled drop-off.

Please note that a completed form is required at each boarding. The information you provide is a significant component of a successful boarding experience so please take the time to share details of your pet’s daily routine.
